About The Event

Eastside Community Development Corporation and CHS BLM, present our first Black History Month Art Exhibit. Hosted by St. Julian Devine Community Center.

Since 1970, every February, we celebrate and honor African- Americans who have contributed in making a better society for all. Whether it be in government, social justice, the Arts, sports, and so on, we take this month to show our gratitdue to those men and women who have paved the way for all of us.

Saturday, February 27, 2021, we would like to present to you our first Black History Month Art Exbihit. All are welcomed to come and support our youth who have chosen to celebrate with us the men and women of the Arts and moments in the Civil Rights Movement. Our student applicants have taken the time to either choose a specific famous art piece from one of our country's famous African- American artist to recreate, or recreate an image from the Civil Rights Movement.

To further congratulate our student applicants on their hard work, we will be hosting an auction (check our website when auction goes live). 100% of the auction sale will go toward our student applicant to bettering their future. All auctions are finale at 7 PM. Auctions start at $20.

Mask Required.

Medical survey will be conducted upon arrival.
